hi, i'm ayla!

get to know me!

Welcome to my page — I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m based in Cincinnati & Hamilton, Ohio, but I love traveling wherever your story takes me. My passion is capturing moments in life that feel alive — whether it's the quiet glances towards someone you love, or the playful, fun memories that carry the most meaning.

I’m currently a Health Science student at the University of Cincinnati, on the path to becoming a physical therapist. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me in a local coffee shop, at a thrift store, or spending time with my friends. Beyond photography, I’m deeply passionate about my studies, music, and most importantly, my faith in Jesus Christ — the reason I am where I am today. My hope is to love others the way He loves us.

Some random fun fact about me:

  • I love music! I love listening, playing, and just going to sleep to all music. A few of my favorite artists are (so basic but) Chris Stapleton, Hudson Westbrook, Noah Kahn, Josiah Queen, and Chris Renzema!
  • I also love any type of sweet treat, as long as there is no peanut butter (oops...), but my favorite has to be a chocolate milkshake.
  • I love moving my body! You will see me on a walk or run, in a pilates class, or at the gym most days of the week. Movement is such a fun and important aspect of my life!

Enough about me... I can’t wait to meet you, collaborate with you, and capture the beautiful moments that make your story unique.

Why photography?

As mentioned before, I aspire to capture moments in life that feel alive!

Ecclesiastes 3 beautifully sums up my “why” — it reminds us that there is a season for everything in life: beginnings and ends, joy and sorrow, celebration and stillness. Each photo becomes a way of remembering those seasons, a monument to the truth that every moment carries meaning and reflects what it means to feel alive.

At the heart of it, I pursue photography to celebrate God’s most

beautiful creation — us! Through my lens, I hope to honor the beauty, uniqueness, and stories within each person and the season they’re in.
